Els olivicultors de la DOP Oliva de Mallorca ja han comen\u00e7at la collita d\u2019oliva verda al centenar d\u2019olivars inscrits al consell regulador, que sumen m\u00e9s de 70.000 arbres.<\/p>\n

Tot i que la producci\u00f3 d\u2019enguany ser\u00e0 menor que la de l\u2019any passat, tant per la pres\u00e8ncia de mosca als olivars de la Serra de Tramuntana com per ser l\u2019any de recuperaci\u00f3 de les oliveres despr\u00e9s de l\u2019esplet de l\u2019any passat, als mercats no hi faltar\u00e0 l\u2019oliva de la varietat mallorquina amb denominaci\u00f3 d\u2019origen en les seves tres presentacions: verda sencera, verda trencada i negra natural.<\/p>\n

La visita del conseller de Medi Ambient, Agricultura i Pesca Vicen\u00e7 Vidal a la finca de Els Horts de Caimari va donar per inaugurada oficialment la campanya de 2018. Acompanyat pel president de la DOP, Miquel Gual aix\u00ed com membres del consell regulador, \u00a0elaboradors i el batle de Caimari Antoni Daniel Frontera, va collir les primeres olives de la temporada.<\/p>\n

La collita de l\u2019oliva negra marcar\u00e0 el final de campanya, la qual podria allargar-se a determinades zones fins al mar\u00e7 en funci\u00f3 de la evoluci\u00f3 de les temperatures i les condicions climatol\u00f2giques.<\/p>\n

La recol\u00b7lecci\u00f3 a les m\u00e9s de 70.000 oliveres inscrites la DOP Oliva de Mallorca es realitza manualment, agafant l\u2019oliva directament de l\u2019arbre, el que garanteix la selecci\u00f3 del fruit al seu punt \u00f2ptim de maduraci\u00f3 i de qualitat, aix\u00ed com el m\u00e0xim respecte cap les valuoses oliveres de la varietat mallorquina, la major part centen\u00e0ries.<\/p>\n

Actualment la DOP Oliva de Mallorca compta amb 85 olivicultors, 111 finques inscrites (529,89 ha), 5 elaboradors i 6 envasadors que comercialitzen Oliva de Mallorca sota les marques comercials Fibonacci, Olis S\u00f3ller, Son Mesquidassa i Son Moragues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
